Dr Fr Benny Thomas, a professor of Computer Science, is currently the director of the Bangalore Yeshwanthpur Campus at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Bangalore. In addition to this responsibility, he directs the IPR cell of the University.
Dr Benny is a member of the CMI Congregation, a religious and charitable institution that founded CHRIST (Deemed to be University). Having completed the postgraduate degrees in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Technology in Software Engineering (MTech) in India, he also earned a Master of Science in Educational Administration (MS) from Iona College, New York, USA. He holds a PhD in Education and has been guiding research scholars in that area. Dr Benny is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a member of the Computer Society of India (CSI).
Dr Samanta, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engg. from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India, in the area of SAR Image Processing. He is the owner of 22 Patents (4 Design Indian Patents and 2 Australian patents Granted, 16 Indian Patents published) and 2 copyright. He has authored and coauthored over 217 research papers in areas of Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Image Processing. He has received the “Scholastic Award” at the 2nd International Conference on Computer Science and IT application, CSIT-2011, Delhi, India. He is a co-author of 13 books and the co-editor of 12 books, available for sale on Amazon and Flipkart. He has presented various papers at International conferences and received Best Paper awards. He has author and co-authored of 22 Book Chapters.
Dr Jayanta Biswas received his B.E. degree in Computer Science from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, India, and his M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in System Science and Automation from Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, India. He worked with NCR Corporation, Columbia, SC, USA from January 1995 to 1998 and also worked with Alcatel Internetworking, Calabasas, CA, USA from January 1999 to November 2002. He led Alcatel Internetworking ATM (core and edge) switch software developmental efforts and ten Gigabit software developmental effort from May 2000 to November 2002. He worked as the technical director in CEM Solutions, Bangalore, India, and developed embedded VoIP products. He taught as an assistant professor at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, India, in the embedded systems and VLSI group.
Mr Alphons Roy, a creative individual with leadership qualities and problem-solving skills, is currently a research scholar at the Department of English and Cultural Studies. Over the last few years, he has worked with reputed business organisations and academic institutions as an active researcher, project coordinator, and content creator. He aspires to utilise his creative expertise to overcome organisational challenges and support, encourage, and build an energetic work culture."
