In line with NEP 2020, the BCom (Strategic Finance Honours) Programme was converted to a four-year degree programme from the academic year 2023.

In line with NEP 2020, the BCom (Strategic Finance Honours) Programme was converted to a four-year degree programme from the academic year 2023. The BCom (Strategic Finance Honours) curriculum is benchmarked with the globally recognised Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification curriculum awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), which is a US-based worldwide association for accountants and financial professionals. The faculty panel for this programme includes professionals with CMA/CPA qualification and industry experience. The assessment pattern is a blend of regular written examinations and online examinations aligned with the professional assessment pattern. This programme will help students to pursue and complete the US CMA certification either along with or after graduation. The IMA (USA) has awarded the Endorsed School status to the BCom (Strategic Finance Honours) programme for meeting IMA’s Higher Education Quality Standards.
The 3-year BCom (Strategic Finance) programme is divided into six semesters and is designed as per the NEP model curriculum prescribed by UGC. It includes major and minor core courses. Additionally, the programme also offers vocation courses, skill enhancement courses. Students will be awarded BCom (Strategic Finance) at the end of three years
BCom (Strategic Finance Honours)
The student can continue the fourth year to graduate with BCom (Strategic Finance Honours) degree after successful completion of all the courses in the seventh and eight semesters. Majorly the subjects will be aligned in line with the CPA and CFA professional qualification.
BCom (Strategic Finance Honours with Research)
Students will have the option to pursue BCom (Strategic Finance Honours with Research) in the fourth year instead of BCom (Strategic Finance Honours). BCom Strategic Finance Honours with Research programme focuses on providing strong fundamental knowledge in research methodologies and analytics. Students who secure 75% marks and above in the first six semesters can choose this stream in the fourth year. They should do a research project or dissertation under the guidance of a faculty member of the University. The research project/dissertation will be in the major discipline. The students who secure 160 credits, including 12 credits from a research project/dissertation, will be awarded the BCom (Strategic Finance Honours with Research) degree.

Applicants may apply online for the programme from 8th December 2023 on the University website till the date of applications officially closing.
Applications for each programme will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process.
All applicants must visit the page: https://app.christuniversity.in and register by entering NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID and set a password. (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.
(After payment if you do not receive the 9 (Nine) digit application number, then your application process is incomplete, and payment will go in for refund process. The refund will take about 15 working days and must be checked with your bank).

Admission to all programmes is based on academic achievement and CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Selection Process. Candidates should submit the final results of class 12 on or before August 30th of the admission year.

An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing/passing their exam in March – June – 2024], must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before 30 August 2024.
All admitted students must open an account at South Indian Bank, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Branch as part of the admission process and must carry relevant ID proof (Aadhar Card and Pan Card).
The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID cum ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after the commencement of classes, including fee payment, will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places.
Selected candidates who fall under International student category (ISC) should register with the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO / FRO) of the Local Police in Bengaluru, India within 14 working days from the date of admission or arriving in Bengaluru.

Eligibility for the programme is a pass with a minimum of 70% at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / State Boards) in the Commerce stream from any recognised Board in India.
