MSc Psychology (Health& Wellbeing) programme provides the academic and practice skills needed to provide psychosocial interventions in health and wellbeing in a variety of settings from public health to the workplace. This programme is an outcome of the Partnership 2020 (Public Health, Business and Innovation strategic focus area) project “Training in Innovation to Address Global Health and Economic Disparities” between Miami University, Ohio USA and CHRIST (Deemed to be University) with a specific focus on benefits for health and economic development of local community. The emphasis on ethical and analytical research skills and practice skills to provide psychosocial interventions focusing health and wellness equips students to work in various settings.

Neurophysiological underpinnings of psychological processes of health
Qualitative and quantitative research skills
Human growth and development across the lifespan
Common mental health issues found across populations, issues of stress and its implications for mental health as well as steps for enhancing subjective wellbeing

Note: The International Student category fee structure is binding for the full duration of the programme and cannot be transferred /changed in between.
Candidates from the above listed categories having pursued Indian Educational qualification and who may have applied under the Indian States Category will have to pay the International Student Category Fee. The decision of the Admission committee is final.
Candidates seeking admission through International Student category (Foreign Nationals/PIO/OCI) will have a separate application process, with the option to apply for any programme at Christ University.

RESULTS AND ADMISSION PROCESS

Candidates who have passed Undergraduate degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% and above marks in any discipline including Nursing, Medicine, Allied Health, from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU, are eligible to apply.
Students appearing for their final degree examinations in March-May 2025 are also eligible to apply (Applicants who are in the last year of their studies should have secured 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far).
Students pursuing an International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations
