Dr. PARTHA KUMBHAKAR

Dr. Partha Kumbhakar earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur. He further honed his expertise in 2D materials as a Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Kharagpur, supported by the US Air Force Research Laboratory. His research focuses on sustainable energy harvesting and flexible electronics for real-world applications. Dr. Kumbhakar has published over 75 articles in international journals and authored two book chapters on nanomaterials. He has designed cover pages for international journal issues and holds three national patents. His work has earned him a SERB-sponsored project and Young Researcher awards. Since 2023, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Physics and Electronics Department at Christ University, Bangalore. He also received a SEED grant for his research in advanced 2D materials, 3D printing, energy harvesting, and soft robotics.
