His contributions to research also include several patent applications and copyrights. Dr. Thirukumaran is affiliated with prestigious bodies in the field of Computer Science. His work in education, skill development, and research has earned him multiple awards. Since 2024, he has been an Associate Professor at Christ University, Bangalore.
