Maria John Paul is a part-time research fellow at the National Institute of Technology Goa. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Ecocriticism, focusing on Malayalam film and Anthropocene narratives. Her research explores how Malayalam films depict the tensions between environmental and cultural issues. Maria?s academic work aims to enhance our understanding of the Anthropocene. She also seeks to raise ecological awareness through her research. With three years of teaching experience, Maria has a strong foundation in both literature and environmental studies. Her passion for enhancing literary and environmental consciousness drives her academic journey. Maria?s work reflects a deep commitment to integrating cultural narratives with ecological concerns.
